Christian Education
We invite you to participate in our Sunday School and Sunday morning
Bible class which meet at 10:30 A.M.
Sunday School
Sunday School classes meet in the church after the service on Sunday.
We are using CPH Growing in Christ series.
Adult Bible Study
An adult Bible class meets during the Sunday School hour.
Pastor Thies teaches this class. We are currently studying the mission of the church through the book Mission from the Cross.
Catechesis
The young people in our congregation receive careful instruction
in the Christian faith so that they understand the doctrine taught by
the Church and the grace which is shown to them though Christ's promise
in the Word and sacrament. The course of instruction is organized
according to the topics of Luther's Small Catechism, The Ten
Commandments, The Creed, The Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Confession and
Absolution, and The Sacrament of the Altar.
Adult Information Class
Pastor also teaches a class for adults who wish to learn what the
Lutheran Church teaches. The course is good preparation for those who
wish to become members, but one is not required to become a member to
attend. Current members are encouraged to participate in order to
review the basic teachings of the Christian faith.
